"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Long time no post! I usually don't post a lot unless I've saved up a few things I just have to share.
I got the Lord of the Rings books on my Kindle 2 and got so deep into it I wanted to make some cool art. So right now I'm working on a lot of LOTR related stuff for my own enjoyment and to keep up my skills and try new things. I'm working on a large map of Middle Earth based off the movie map and I'll add my own details and style (completely vector of course). It's going to take a while to do right so I'm just taking my time. I've also got some commemorative LOTR currency in the works too. I've spend a lot of time making intricate pattern brushes. Why I'm so fascinated with pattern bushes and pattern fills I don't know. Maybe it's because I like a challenge and believe me they can be very challenging.
Did I mention I got a Kindle 2? God I love this thing! I've probably read 30 books since I got it. It's so easy and fun to use. The latest firmware opens it up to any kind of PDF without having to convert to the kindle format. It still works best with Kindle formated books because they have a table of contents and links but a dumb PDF is still readable on it.

Thanks. Yes, I'm working on some currency for a client. Nothing I can show yet. I didn't have any time to finish my Lord of the Ring side project. I might pick it up again some day.

I think most Thracian currency is coinage not paper if I'm not mistaken. I haven't done any coins.
